[CH] nifty idea

Hey all,
I just saw a neat and easy little table decoration on a TV commercial of
all places. Just take a cylindrical-shaped clear glass vase (maybe 3 or 4
inches diameter, 8 or so inches high. The width depends on the diameter of
the floating candle you find), fill it with peppers (red and green would
look cool for the holidays). Get it pretty full...like around 3/4 I would
guess. Fill the remaining space with water and top with a floater candle.
That is it. Seems like a clever way to incorporate peppers into yet
another facet of the dining experience. If you dont want to use a candle
you can always stick flowers in, using the peppers to hold the stems where
you want them. In the commercial (for Garden Ridge), they used citrus
slices in some and peppers in others just for another idea.
take care,
Suz
