in appreciation of the sage CH list:
Looking at the mex. specialties section in the local Wmart past week I found
a very small cellophane of 4-6 dried, mud-brown habaneros.....almost $4! I
snickered/giggled to myself thinking I must be a millionare as I have many
ziplocks full of beautiful orangy-dried habs. All preserved recently after
learning what to do with a surplus of habs from the CHList.
I now carry a white film-can of hab flakes in my purse, which I am
remembering to use more often. My husband has been adding hab flakes to my
bloody mary's....without being asked! Even my 15yr. old daughter made sure
to pick all of the habs before it frosted 2 weeks ago....she commented how
beautiful they are. (My normally lonesome dehydrator doesn't know what hit
it.)
When it snows this winter.....my house will be hot inside!
