I had some chile pepper wine from an outfit in New Mexico one time at the Fiery Foods Show. Most goshawful unpalatable stuff I've ever tried in my life (next to diet Tab). The red was only slightly better than the green. Kind of hard to get used to a green wine. It's not that I'm a wine snob or anything either- the stuff just tasted awful! No kick either. Got a bottle for curiosity and that was it. -Jim C MWPH
