The Winter Solstices has come and gone, dragging in its wake the Winter.

Snow and ice.
Yet with it comes a promise.
A thing seen in the tree buds.
                                   Closed tight.
Against the Winter.

Time.
For catalogues.
Chile seeds, herbs and spices, peas and such.
At least, for those of us in the northern latitudes.
(So easy to forget that Luke is down there in Oz standing up side down,
chile plants
groping towards the upside down sun.)

Spring is coming. (I promise)

Have a good one everyone.

Jose
