Sorry to take so long in getting back. My Communist brother =Mark called a
couple of times when he got down, but forgot to include the minor detail as
to which hotel he was staying at. Plus he hasn't been able to find a
working access number for e-mail. He finally got in touch with me and gave
me the hotel's phone number.....the fax number!!! I gave him my access
number and hopefully he will be on line later today. If anyone wants to
call him he's at the Ramada at 703-751-4510.
The latest last minute plan is Stella's in Alexandria at 7:00. It's at 1725
Duke Street, directly across the street from the King Street Metro station.
It's in the courtyard of the complex with the Embassy Suites Hotel. There
is free validated parking in their underground garage as well as limited
free on street parking.
The restaurant is still relatively undiscovered, but is becoming more so
with their new chef Peter Meyers. Great food and decor, and very moderately
priced. You can get a general idea of their menu and prices at
