My posting was not intended to cause such an uproar...
The point was simple, why has this list migrated into other topics?
Someone pointed out (vie email) that there is a whole world wide web out
there, if I don't like it, why not move on. Excellent point, with 60,000
newsgroups (not to mention list serves) available, why post it here? I have
been on-and-off this group for almost three years now (various subscriber
names for those who care to investigate) and have noticed that the content
has gotten bland.
I am fanatical about peppers, so please don't get me wrong, I would just
like to see less of the non pepper related material and MORE pertinent
information. Is there a bad point to that?
Only a few days ago I received a package of requested seeds from the GRIN
(USDA) repository (12 in all) and can't wait to get them started. No longer
do I grow Jalapenos and Seranos, this year it's off to those peppers so rare
and exotic that don't even have a common name, only referred by a USDA data
number. Point is, my love of peppers is great. I have found this group an
excellent resource for materials and will continue to do so.
If I offended anyone, please accept my apologies, it was only meant to raise
a concern that I have noticed.
Everyone's opinion counts, so why crucify me?
My place is not to "police" this group OR to be the Czar of the internet, I
was just voicing my concerns.
