My applogies for not being clear on my post concerning my "hot box" for starting seedlings. Yes, the seed packs do sit on top of the cardboard box. One piece of plastic protects the box from moisture the, the other keeps the soil damp without repeated waterings. Cameron-thanks for the Rocoto seeds they're "off and running", six days germination time. David
