I love hot stuff. I made a version of THE BREAD a few weeks ago. I used
1 tsp habanero (since I didn't have any of the red sativa) and it came
out wonderful. Even my non-ch husband enjoyed it altho' he didn't see
any point in putting chiles in bread. To him bread is to calm the tongue
down, not heat it up. I just finished it yesterday. I made a wonderful
grilled cheese sandwich with it. That is what I did with it mostly. I
did use it to sop up chile juices too. Yum. I'll be making another batch
this week but I will add an additional 1/2 tsp habanero powder to it.

Now a little about myself...

My name is Risa. I am a 38 year old mother of 1. He is 3 years old. I
have enjoyed chiles for many years but I find I am enjoying even hotter
ones lately. A couple of years ago I started to enjoy the jalapeno rings
that were on top of the nachos at mexican restaurants a little more. It
didn't seem to burn as much. So I started growing chiles - some
successfully, and some not.

About 4 years ago, I grew Anaheims and Hungarian Hot Wax. They both grew
really well. The next year, I just grew Anaheims because I needed more
room for the other crops (and I don't have a lot of room). Then the year
after I grew Pretty In Purple peppers in pots. Really cute and nice
heat. Tried growing them again the year after and the seedlings didn't
really grow well. I tried poblanos and serranos. The serranos grew
pretty well. I have also grown jalapenos from a plant at the garden
center. They grew really well. Maybe I'll try them again this year.

I know I am blabbering on and on. I'll stop now. Just wanted to
introduce myself. Hi Chile-Heads. Glad to be among the great ones...
