[CH] Blosom drop/heat

In response to Gary's posting about blosom drop above 80F

In "The Pepper Garden", Dave Dewitt claims that hot peppers
are hotter if they polinate at temps above 85F.

I too was confused about most seed catalogs claiming blosom
drop above 80 and DD's comment.

My County Agent and 2 seed suppliers claim that the smaller
the pod, the less blosom drop at high heat levels.

In my microclim, I only had 2 days over 100F, Had no blosom
drop on Chitlepins.
