Although there is 3 ft of snow on my garden, my basement is full of
little chile plants stretching towards the shop lights. This year I’m
growing orange and red Habs, Scotch Bonnets, Super Cayenne, Datils,
Hungarian Wax, Thai Hot, Tabasco, Rainbow and Sizzler. If they’re still
alive and healthy in mid May I’ll be selling some at the Proud Market
Plant sale. Disclaimer: all proceeds go to nonprofit garden clubs. So if
you’re in Rochester, NY for the Lilac Festival , stop by the plant sale
on Saturday and get a special CH discount. More details to follow when
we get closer to the date.

Just a note to fellow Chers about my favorite way to start the day:
Put a pat of butter in a hot fry pan. When butter is bubbling add two
eggs. Add salt, pepper and a healthy coating of ground chipotle powder.
Cook until almost done and flip over for a few seconds. When the
chipotle hits the hot butter it releases an incredible aroma that only a
Chile Head can fully appreciate.
