For those who are preaching about TMV
I am a heavy smoker, have been for 40 years, I never wash
my hands with anything special before handling peppers, tomatoes
or eggplant or potatoes. Usually I have a butt in my hand while
working on them.
In 40 years I have never had TMV in my garden. You can believe
in what you want, but from experience or the School of Hard Knocks
or whatever is politicaly correct or whatever you want to call it.
Just don't preach it here.
If you don't believe it, I will give you the e-mail address of my county
agent
and you can ask him if I ever brought in a plant or leaf with TMV.
