If y'all haven't tried it, I still say banana is the best One of my firefighters swears by this as well. We can even make it sound plausible by drawing conclusions about the relationship between the potassium in the bananas' blocking the calcium ion exchange necessary for the burning pain signal to be carried by the nerve and/or being recognized by the brain :-) -Jim C
