Just thinking It maybe variety dependent. On habs and SB's than were planted a little deeper than the pot top, I saw no new root growth when pulled them in the fall. I have noticed that Thais and Rainbows are trying to grow roots above the potting soil line. These will probably respond to deep transplanting. Byron
