[CH] Varieties

	>(about 20 of those 600 are now in the ground, here in DRY
	>and relatively warm Virginia).

Here in the FINALLY dry mid-west we have a 5-day
forecast that, for once, doesn't include rain! So...
I'll be taking a day off from work tomorrow to
put 30 plants in one raised bed, and 4 more in 5
gallon buckets. 11 different varieties in all.
They are getting root bound in the 3 inch Jiffy Pots,
and the pots are starting to fall apart from the
increased watering, with mold starting to form on
the pots (those parts will be torn off/discarded prior
to planting) so ready or not, outside they go.
They didn't get as hardened off as I would like, so
I will have shade net up for the first week or two.

	On a somewhat-less-than-tragic note, I found the
first aphids of the season on my seedlings indoors.
They were only on a couple of my 50+ plants, so
I picked/sprayed them off. This is the first time I
have seen aphids around, but if they persist I will
whip up a batch of chile-garlic-dish-soapy water
	and continue the attack outdoors.

Scott... won't be using Jiffy Pots next year... KCK
