socalsuz@earthlink.net mentioned her ladybugs having flown off on her,
and I think it's Gardens Alive that carries ladybug lure. It's a
pheromone preparation, as I recall, and you dilute it and then apply it
to things like strategically placed stones in the garden every few or
several days and the ladybugs hang out in the garden and eat aphids.
What a life, huh? Also, check into a breed of ladybugs which stick around
that I think the same catalogue may also carry. I'm not sure what the
order-by dates are on the bugs.
