Howdy,

I found a recipe that includes Yucca Root *and* chiles.  I have not tried
it because I must first catch striped bass to do it right.

The recipe comes from the rec.food.recipes Newsgroup archives.

As an added treat the archives include recipes from the Colonel.  The
recipes are grouped by subject so have fun hunting down the Colonel -
there's lots of good stuff in the archives.

Micheal Bailes might can tell us more but I've seen Yucca root as a remedy
for arthritis, gout, etc.
