Just a reminder that the Rivendell Winery in New Paltz, NY will host the
New York State Championship Chili Cookoff and the Great Hudson Valley
Regional Chili Cookoff this Saturday and Sunday. Competition chili turn -n
is at 3:oo each day, so I would assume it will be open to the public from
about 12:00 to 5:00. If you come by, stop at the Chilli Chili canopy and
say hello to us folks from out-of-state.
To get to Rivendell. take the NY State Thruway to exit 18; when you exit,
turn left at the end of the ramp onto route 299; then follow the sign to
Rivendell @ 714 Albany Post Road.
