Mike - just outside of Phoenix in Tolleson is the Saguaro Cafe, a
longstanding, 50 year old Mexican joint in a residential section. They
serve wonderful fat burritos, tamales, tacos and the best frijoles. The
tamales were voted the Best of Phoenix in 1995 by a publication called Best
of Phoenix. It's worth the drive: 9158 W. Pierce (606) 936-3413.
