Every year , about October , a fortunate collision of circumstances occurs
around these parts , ( NEDERLAND , COLORADO ) . First , ( EL GRANDE willin
and the creeks don't rise ! ) the CHILE crop is ripe , and second ,
everyone with a gun and an urge to " bag an elk " comes up here , so then
the elk all run around on the highway , resulting in some damn fine " PEAK
TO PEAK , ROAD KILL RED " , last years winner of " crowd favorite " at the
Nederland high school benefit Chili cook off  ! .Anyone in the neighborhood
is welcome to " COME ON UP ".   BILL ..... COLORADO'S highest CHILE grower
