I have several friends in law enforcement. One sent me this description of
a Cap spray they use.  I checked my Endorphin rush, and Daves at home but
couldn't find
out what percentage of Cap Extract they generally contain. I'm sure someone
else on the list can enlighten us.  Of course pure cap extract is also now
available for the elite group of Chili Heads whose addiction for heat has
expanded beyond diluted foods and sauces. Oleo resin sounds fancy but for
those us who went to school in the south its corn oil. The spray also
contains a non toxic propellant.

"Pepper Spray with 15% Oleo Resin Capsicum. Rated at 2 Million Scoville
Heat Units.An inflammatory
agent, Pepper Spray, will induce coughing, choking and nausea, as well as
dilating the eye capillaries resulting in temporary blindness. The
mucous membranes swell to prevent all but life support breathing causing
the assailant to be temporarily incapacitated. A one second burst
of Pepper Spray will stop an attacker for up to 45 minutes without causing
permanent damage."

Kinda makes you want to run out and buy some, huh?
