Ed in Maine misspelled;

> Jamiaca habañero

It is habanero. No ñ. I am seeing this a lot more. Mother's Mountain
products in Falmouth, Maine not only misspells on their lables but also
on their contract labels. I think it probably comes from spelling of
jalapeño.

The word means 'from Habana'. There is no such place as Habaña.

Oh yeah.....Jamaica, also. But a country is not as important as chiles.
