[CH] A Word of Caution

Great day.  Sliced, deveined, and somewhat de-seeded a humugous crop of habs
and various peppers which are happily now dehydrating.  Didn't put on the
rubber gloves for this task because:

a)  I have no young children around that might need noses blown, etc.
b)  I am not a man (see earlier posts)
c)  I like the taste of my fingers for several hours after raw chiles have
absorbed into the skin.  Although some juices did get under my thumbnail and
it's still burning, I'm sucking on it, so it should be ok soon.  (It tastes
pretty good actually)

But ... if you put the stems, veins, and some of the seeds in the garbage
disposal, DO NOT BREATHE for at least 10 minutes after turning on the
disposal.  This is not fun.  :)

Hubby came home, asked what is that smell??  I pointed to the dehydrator,
asked if he would like to taste my fingers ... enuff said.
