[CH] Chile shopping in Dallas

Hi Chileheads --

My boyfriend is heading to Dallas for a few days, and I don't want to miss
an opportunity to acquire unique peppers or hotsauces. Any recommendations
on what I should ask for? Keep in mind, I live in Atlanta and have access
to an awful lot, so I'm looking for things unique to Texas or the
Southwest. How are roasted chiles usually packaged? Will they survive a car
trip back to Atlanta? Any suggestions for stores I should send him to?

While he's gone I take off for Germany -- the Calvin's and Ralph's are
already packed. I pray nightly that El Grande will watch over the
chilepatch while I'm away.
