hi folks,
   i'm new to the CH list (first post) and sure am enjoying reading
about our favourite foods!

any chance that the magic stuff is CO2 ? carbon dioxide ?
don't plants use that in photosynthesis?
sure hope he's getting those yeasts to work on something useful  ....
