Apparently, my mystery chili powder was thed wholesale version of the American, 'Steers; Mexican Chilli Powder'. I hope that this is of some help. BTW Sainsbury's over here also sell this Steers, but only in 25g amounts, in Surrey. Anyone got an ingredients list, as the supermarket tubs merely say 'chilli flakes' ?
