Just plunk a hose into the superior vena cava (may require suturing).
Pumping out where previously was a pump-in function.  The capillaries should
be sufficiently decomposed to allow seepage.  How's that for total
utilization of existing resources?  Of course, with all of that lime it may
be too late.  Does provide a new meaning for the phrase "green fingers"  in
a couple of ways, now that I think about it.  LOL
