Does anybody from NJ remember Fat Mike's, a hot dog place in
Hasbrouck Heights? <<Mark, I'm expecting you or your brother to step up
to the plate on this one.
I used to love their chili dogs, it was the only place I
could find that was reasonably hot.
It started as small green shack next to the baseball field, I think in
the 50s. Mike then moved into an actual fast food restaurant building
after being offered tons of money for his little corner lot.
It was sold after Mike died (the recipe changed slightly) and then
closed up a coupla years after that.
It is no longer there.
If anybody ate the chili dogs there and has the recipe or a very close
replacement, could you post it?
