While posting about seeds to Riley, it occurred to me that this
information may be of use to the List.
The seeds I plant for my Aji Amarillo plants almost all float, even if
left overnight in water. They also carry about a 90% germination rate.
I don't know if it is because of the way they are dried, or what. I do
know that I no longer assume a seed is not viable just because it
floats. If I only have a few seeds from a trade, or I'm trying to
germinate from a special pod, etc., I don't even float test anymore. I
just plant the seeds.
