These are two unrelated species.

Curry Plant (Helichrysum angustifolium)
The name is also applied to other Helichrysum species, including H.
italicum and H. microphyllum.

Curry Leaves (Murraya koenigii)
What's worse, the common name "Curry Leaf" is also applied to Ocimum
canum (a kind of Basil) in Africa,  Pandanus latifolius (a flavorful
Screw Pine) in Sri Lanka, and yes even some species of Helichrysum.

They have nothing in common except their smell.
