Hey all,
One warning I have about covering the soil during the Winter is I found that
more than killing weeds I provided a great little environment to cultivate
bugs...most of them big nasties. I won't do that again. I just leave it
uncovered and till under anything that I don't have to cut with clippers,
paper, mulch and plant.
I received my plants from the ChileWoman today. Yay! All but two
arrived in great shape and look wonderful. UPS is at fault for the demise
of two tomatillos...funny how the box doesn't take well to being drop
kicked!
imagine that.
take care,
Suz
