FWIW:
The Macadamia people here in [North east Oz, NSW} wil be marketing a
nutbased sauce with Chile soon, I have tasted a pre release sample and
its not bad..
standard disclaimers apply
although if I might add, the sample was tasted at the Pistol club and
there was a gun held to my head.. <G> on account of the fact that one of
our members father in law grows the nuts..
Actually its not bad, just needs to be pushed in the right direction.. 
I'm pushing for some sample stock.. so will send what I can to the
list..
