Well,
Its been awefully quiet on the list lately, and since I haven't had
tonight's dinner, I'll post a garden report.

Big rains in KC last night. 1.5 -2 inches. Lost a couple of small anchos.
Several banana peppers are over 4", Thai dragons are loaded with small
chiles, some of which look big enough to ripen soon. I have a dozen anchos
set, the largest is two inches long. Tobascos have set a few small fruits
with very small pedistals, I'm hoping they'll fatten up. Lots of foliage on
the tobascos though. Red Carribean is nice and bushy with one small fruit
set. Cayenne and jalapeno are lagging behind. Cayenne has a few small
fruits but is much smaller than the other plants.

Potted plants include two bushy and producing Peruvian Purples, an aurora
with several small fruits, and a Bolivian Rainbow with many small fruits.

Maters are all of four feet tall with several maters on the vine. I may
have garden salsa by July 4.

Things are looking up after a dismal year last year.

Life is growing in KC,
Hope all your gardens are doing as well.
Mike
