Well its all but official.  We are down to watering odd/even before 5am and
after 10pm.  I think I see a total outside watering ban in site.  I buried
150' of soaker hose in the garden today.  Boy!  That is a bit of a chore
when the maters are 6' tall and bunched together!  Other than losing the
squash to borers (sp?) things are hanging in well.  (Does anyone know how to
eradicate borers?)  The peppers are doing well with some just starting to
set fruit and others already being picked from. Cameron - the rocoto is full
of purple flowers!  I knew it would kick in.  I hope some fruit sets in this
heat.
    We got about 10 drops of rain today.  It was a nice, albeit useless,
change.
