It is my habit to trim back the plant and usually part of the root system
when I bring plants inside.  It tends to help minimize pot size and the
plants (Bolivian rainbow, rocoto, scotch bonnet) seem fine with it.  Guess
plants down here do not have tremendously sensitive tap-roots.
