At the last few Bowers Chile Festivals Jeff and Tammy Porter have been
serving drinks from the portable wet bar in the trunk of their car. They
mix lemon vodka with 7-up and serve on the rocks. This year Doug Barnhart,
two time jalapeno eating contest winner and producer of evil chocolate
habanero chocolate chip cookies took one of Jeffs Lemon Drop chiles and
broke off a piece into his drink. It worked out great. There was a nice
bite and the flavor of the chile and the lemon vodka really complemented
each other, and there was no need for aging...
