Hi Brad...I love my turkey fryer and use a lot of plain garlic butter when
I'm feeding non CHers. Even with the purchased Cajun Marinade, the flavor
is not strong enough to offend anyone's delicate tastebuds. Some people rub
spices on the outside of the bird but I haven't done that as I strain and
re-use the oil several times (it's pricey) so I don't want any flavors in
the oil itself.

I found a bottle of powdered spices that you mix with hot water and inject.
That was less expensive and you could make it as hot/mild as you want be
adding some of our good friends' blends as we do to other food.

You'll love this gadget. Just be sure to heed the instructions not to
overfill it with oil. A friend of mine ended up re-sodding a 3 ft. section
of lawn that was burned to a crisp by overflowing 375 degree oil!
