Bad news- According to its web site, the Chile Swap site on Geocities.com
will soon cease to exist.
Good news- To help ease the suffering of the Chilehead masses, I am putting
up a seed/pepper exchange page on my site at Ulupica.com. Just go to
http://ulupica.com/seeds/exchange.cgi
I works like a classified ads page. You post an ad with what you are looking
for or what you have to spare. Someone seeing your ad will contact you via
e-mail to arrange the exchange. Fairly simple and straightforward. You are
given and e-mailed a password which will allow you to take down your ad when
you get what you wanted, or your supply has run out. If you have any trouble
doing this, or forgot your password, just drop me a note, and I'll take care
of it for you.
Now, as usual, this is not pretty, but it is functional. I've tested it
pretty well, but if anyone has problems, please let me know so I can fix
them.
