How much tilling do you need to do? If it's just once par year and not
that big a deal you might be better off splitting a Troy-Built or DR
rear tine with a friend or hiring the initial tilling done. If you are
getting serious about tilling rear-tine is the way to go. And DR or
Troy-Built are two of the top brands.

Once my seed beds were done (converted the back yard to garden) I didn't
really need the rear tine "big gun" tiller. For the next three years I
used a Mantis - which is a mini-sized, easy to use implement good for
general purpose garden use. It will till between the rows in your garden
to keep weeds under control. It will prepare your seed bed in the
spring. It will till your left over plant debris into the soil of the
seed beds. It has edger and other attachemnts that make it handy around
the yard and garden. It has no affiliation with me, unfortunately for
me. I sold mine when I moved into this candominium and had to reduce my
garden to some containers.

ENJOY!!!
