Hey Guys...

Thanks for enlightening this urbanised Brit to what a County Agent is
and does..... Sounds quite interesting!

There are Agricultural Advisors here in the UK, but specifically for
commercial concerns. At one time we used to have a Ministry of Food
which gave away helpful booklets and generally supported ordinary
people, but with its integration into the Ministry Of Agriculture
Fissheries and Food, this service has gone, though I think the Long
Ashton Research Station (a government body) will advise private
growers.

We simply don't have anything like a County Agent in the way you
describe him/her, in the UK....
