[CH] Over-wintering and survival of the fittest

Blame it on fuel prices but I have refused to put a space heater in the
basement where I have left a selected few of my poor pepper plants to
survive the winter (if they will).

The Fatalli had a great start and gave me about 10 small peppers from
the cellar. In fact, I used two in a stir-fry tonight. Their taste was
awesome but they were much hotter than the larger summer peppers... It's
a good thing dinner was only for me!

The small Red Savina plants that were not so large to begin with, are
barely surviving, but I'm not giving up on them.

The Rocottos are thriving!! I've had to cut them back. They do not have
any pods but they have reached high for the fluorescent light. I'm
expecting really great things from them next summer.

That's it for my winter update.

Bring on Spring!!

PS: Again I say thanks to all you guys that gave me seeds last Spring,
allowing me to have a freezer full of peppers and the plants surviving
in my basement.
...Seeeeeya..
