To all you Southern Belles and Gentleman on the list:

Due to a very unfortunate crash, I have lost the names and addy's of those
of you who had already expressed interest in the 1st Annual Southeast
Hotluck. Please email me offlist so I can regroup, literally. For those of
you who have yet to sign on for this momentous affair, time'sawastin! Date
yet to be determined, June or July is looking promising, let me know your
preferences and I'll try to accomodate as many as possible. Place looks
like my home in Statesville, NC, in no way central but easily accessible by
major freeways. I had responses from TN, SC, GA, and AL, and a vendor in PA
who offered samples. 'Twill most likely be an all-day Saturday affair, will
gladly arrange local accomodations for those wanting to spend the weekend.
Non-southerners will be welcomed with open arms too.

To those of you who already expressed an interest, I apologize for the
inconvenience.(Patty & Elden, Scott, Karen, and the rest)I have learned my
lesson and will be backing up weekly from now on.

subject #2, slightly OT:
Anybody have a natural pepper cure for bronchitis? The boy and I have got
it bad. Lungs on fire and filled with molten lead, throat sore from
coughing, and sinuses clogged with toxic sludge. Yuck!

subject #3, tabasco
I have always thought the stuff smelled like the liquid that accumulates at
the bottom of the garbage can. However, if that's all you know, then we're
here to help! I myself was glad they didn't advertise the CH list, selfish
maybe, but true. I must admit a certain fondness for Frank's REDHOT, no
affiliation. Personal hotsauce collection is at an infantile stage as the
last one was sadly lost in divorce settlement. Sriracha, Franks, and pepper
vinegar are here, as is the wasabi in a tube(can't get enough of that
wonderful stuff!)Horseradish in a jar grated fine and unadulterated, and
some Chinese hot pepper oil hijacked from the local fave joint.
