[CH] Acerola/Brasilian Cherries ?

Does anybody have any [CH] recipes that use these, I have got some seeds
and will get a couple of seedlings from one of the members of the Pistol
Club, He has a neighbour that is making his life a misery about his
small 4yr old tree and claims that it has been declared a noxious weed
(crap) but as he tries to be a good neighbour, he is talking of cutting
the tree down, I may try to get it yet if I can get a couple of
helpers.. The tree is only about 5 ft tall pruned so it should not be
that hard.
They are at the end of their season now and are sweet, when red , but
tart when Orange, Maybe a mating for Manzanos..??
The birds sure do like them and probably spread the seeds which are
nearly marble sized in mature fruit..
The fruit actually looks like a Scotch Bonnet..
