The one we usually see in the markets is Physalis IIxocarpa.
Tomatillo Toma Verde is the one most seed vendors sell. Physalis
Peruviana is called: Husk Tomato, Strawberry Husk, Ground
Cherry and Winter Cherry. One of my catalogs called it Small
Tomatillo. They are members of the Nightshade family like Tomato,
Pepper, Eggplant, etc.
