Perhaps, but I find that California wines cost about twice what european
wines of similar quality cost, even on visits to the US.

P.S. I don't like Zinfandel or Cabernet. Pinot-noir (French or Swiss) and
Merlot (Swiss) are my preferences for red, Pinot-gris for white (Alsace).
