I am using the finely ground mulch available free from our dump around my
plants this year.  Anyone have any experiences using this kind of mulch?
I've been using it in my compost heap for afew years now and it decomposes
nicely.

Hi Meconella,
    I'm not sure what material you're referring to. If you're using shredded
tree trimmings,
that's fine. I've been using that material for years for mulch and in the
compost pile.
Shredded cedar is the best of all, but hardwood tree trimmings are good,
too.
In Paris, TX, the city shreds all sorts of tree trimmings, and that's what I
use.
