According to the FDA, manufacturers of acidified foods can claim a shelf
life of two years - mostly because that's as far as the studies go, as
Jim points out.

But be careful about claiming a shelf life of more than two years -
verbally, in advertising, etc.  You're in violation of some Federal
standard (don't think it's in the Code of Food Records (CFR), but it
might be) if you do.
