DM> Does anyone have a recipe for Cabage Salsa?
Hi Duncan
Here are three recipes I dug up. I have never tried any of them out so I
can't comment on how good they might be.
This first one looks like a tasty vegetable relish but I'm not sure I'd
call it salsa if I served it.

Title: Hpj's Cabbage Salsa
Categories: Salsa, Vegetables, Relishes, Chilies
Yield: 1 Servings
Cabbage;
-coarsely chopped
Chillies
Onions
Garlic cloves
Cilantro
lemon juice
Salt
My current favorite cabbage dish is a cabbage salsa. Just substitute
coarsely chopped cabbage for the tomatoes in a good fresh salsa
recipe. In other words mix the cabbage with chile peppers, onion,
garlic, cilantro, lemon juice, and salt, all to taste.

This second one sounds good. I think I'll try it soon myself.

1 Fresh pineapple
1 Fresh mango, peeled and
Chopped

Twist crown from pineapple. Cut pineapple lengthwise into quarters.
Remove fruit from shell, taking care to cut out any "eyes" that
remain; core fruit. Chop into small pieces to make 1 1/2 cups; reserve
remaining pineapple for other use.
Stir together pineapple and remaining ingredients. Cover and
refrigerate at least 30 minutes to let flavors blend. Serve with
grilled fish, pork or chicken.

This last one looks more like cole slaw with chilies!
