Could be. I got it too. I don't mind unsolicited mail when its well
directed. And I'm confident Dave would honour unsubscribe requests.

I took a look at his site for the first time and really enjoyed it. Now
I realize he hopes to sell magazine subscriptions in the long run, but
the site is very entertaining and informative on its own.

So all in all I was glad to get his message.
