Well, on a whim, when I made a run tonite for beer, I picked up a six o'St.
Croix Brewing Company's "Serrano Pepper Ale." I wouldn't know a serrano
(taste/flavor) if it bit me on my nekkid arse. And, on top o'that - I HATE
ale (ranks with green peepers...). I'm a confirmed porter/stout drinker.

En-ee-ways, I popped the cap on one - a note to beer drinkers: good beers
you gotta use a churchkey to get the the cap off; mediocre to crappy beers
you can twist the tops off... - And was NOT impressed. Pissy beer. Nice
flavor - the serranos or the good hops/malt? - but I couldn't tell there was
over 1 lb o'serranos per vat. Snot me!

Oh! But WAIT!!!

It sneaks up on you!!! This is GREAT beer! Won't burn your socks off, but
yes indeedy, there is a heat - a warmth. "Tingle" as described on the the
SCBC's Web site really fits. Warm lips, tingley. Yup. And a warmth down
in my gut - like after eating too many chilpotles with PB!!! :D

Great flavor and a hint of peepers... This gal has just found an ale she
likes! I will definitely get this stuff again.

Sadly, for the majority o'you 'Heads, you can only get St. Croix Brewing
Company's Serrano Pepper Ale in MN and WI. But that may change. I'm gonna
talk to this guy and see if it can't go national. Also want to see if he'll
do a hab beer and a chilpotle beer.

When we all die and remeet in Heaven - there's gonna be beer, and ittiz
gonna have chiles in it!
