<< My brother is a chef in Norfolk, VA.  The owner of the restaurant has
traveled extensively in SE Asia and is well familiar with fresh wasabi.
They have no problem finding it locally for home use and restaurant use.

Interesting site as they even supply it to Japan.  So far it seems to be 
supplied up in Seattle markets.  They perhaps one day will distribute in CA.  
but they say not now :-(
